Changing Spaces Moves Focus to the Opposite Monitor

Running a 27" iMac with a Thunderbolt 27" 2nd monitor, macOS Sierra.

When I switch between spaces with the keyboard while focused on the main monitor the focus always moves to my secondary monitor. It doesn’t do that if I have Sync Grids unchecked.

However, if I click on a space with the mouse the focus will go to the monitor that I did not click on.

Any help with this would be great. Thanks

EDIT: Additionally, when I quit an app on the main monitor the focus shifts to the second monitor. But it doesn’t happen the other way around.

UPDATE: I think I have narrowed it down to the way Path Finder and TotalSpaces interact. When Path Finder is not running I have none of these problems.

I have the same problem on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) running macOS Sierra version 10.12.

So, when I have sync grid option enabled I always have focusing problem. For example, if I have focused window on my external monitor after I switch space and then switch it back - focus always go to the opposite monitor.

The problem is reproducible on 2.4.9 and on 2.5.0 pre-release versions of TotalSpaces2
