This effects me at least 4 times a day, I noticed it happens in other places too

I’m having this issue as well.

It happens several times a day, usually when I open a downloaded zip file in Chrome (from the bottom download toolbar).

This has been an issue for 8 months now.

I’m still getting this as well. This makes TotalFinder almost unusable. Very frustrating for Chrome users. Any updates regarding a solution?

I’m trying out XtraFinder and they don’t seem to have this problem.

Just reinstalled my machine and now I encountered this as well, any ideas how to fix this?

Good news! This annoying “ghost window” bug should be fixed in TotalFinder 1.9.2 (beta):
