I am currently test-driving Total Finder, and it looks so much better than El Capitan’s own version.
However, I noticed that manually mounted SMB shares (Cmd+K) only display a generic icon. I believe it’s the one from standard Finder.
Firewire drives are not differentiated from mounted .DMGs either, they just display using the standard, El Capitan icon.
On Snow Leopard, it correctly displayed the PC icon for manually-mounted shares, and the orange icon with firewire symbol inside.
Is that a bug?
