When having the Total finder installed and running refresh of icons does not work on my very new mac book pro with mavericks 10.9
anyone else experiencing this?

I’m having this same problem. OSX 10.9.2 TotalFinder 1.6
Items in the Desktop folder are require either restarting TotalFinder or not using it, or changing back and forth between Desktop folders and other folders a bunch of times to get it to refresh with files. Problem doesn’t occur if I quit TotalFinder
