A workaround for now is to return to the old method with ugly toolbar.
In Terminal.app execute this command:
defaults write com.binaryage.totalfinder TotalFinderNoFinderWindowClipping -bool yes
Restart Finder.app via CMD+OPT+ESC and launch TotalFinder.app again.
