TotalFinder 1.5 freezes up finder on OS X Mavericks?

When I open TotalFinder 1.5 on OS X Mavericks, it freezes up Finder and I have to relaunch it. FInder works fine until I launch TotalFinder again. When launching TOtalFinder, I see the following Finder-related information in the console:

Hi!

After updating to OS X 10.9 Maverics I constantly get TotalFinder crashes. Reinstalling TotalFinder did not help.

Darwin - I’m having a similar issue since upgrading to 10.9 I’m emailing my most recent crash report as it’s too long to post here. It does this every minute btw - very annoying. Until this is fixed, is there a way to disable the crashwatcher or something so it stops refreshing my finder every 60 seconds??

I think you should just kill TotalFinder process. That is responsible for continuos TotalFinder injection.

Same issues here with Mavericks fresh install with Total Finder. Crashes numerous times during a computer session.

I’ve encountered a rare issue where TotalFinder freezes. I can click around, click files, but the UI doesn’t respond (not getting a spinning beach ball cursor though). However, clicking the close button in the TotalFinder tab closes my Finder window. I don’t know what causes this, and I don’t see anything in the Console (because TotalFinder didn’t crash I suppose).

I’m on Mac 10.9.1, rMBP 15" late-2013; TotalFinder 1.5.11.

Those freezing issues should be hopefully resolved in 1.5.15 (on beta channel), please test it:

If you encounter unclickable window with this version (or later) please report back. I will have to figure out a better way how to prevent it.

I still have frequent crashes and freezes with TotalFinder in Mavericks. It often happens during a drag operation; the files being dragged freeze in mid-screen, the pane becomes unclickable and the dragged files remain frozen until I force-quit TotalFinder. This sounds like the same issue, but I can’t be certain.
