TotalTerminal very slow startup on Sierra 10.12

After rebooting, TotalTerminal starts up very slowly the first time - probably 20 - 30 seconds of beachball. After that, it’s fine - even if TotalTerminal is quit and restarted.

This is mentioned in the TotalFinder beachball thread (Beach ball @ startup OSX 10.12 Sierra) - but I wanted to give it its own topic to make sure it wasn’t lost.

I have the same issue on my personal MacBook Pro, but not on my work Mac Pro… on my Mac Pro it loads almost immediately. Not sure if it just uses the extra RAM or CPU to accelerate its startup time on the Mac Pro, but on my MacBook Pro it can easily take a good 30 seconds to fully start up.
