Upgraded to 1.5 and rebooted. Finder opened in the foreground, disappeared (and dock icon changed to TotalFInder icon), reappeared, disappeared, then “Finder closed unexpectedly” popped up. Everything working fine after dismissing the dialog, but this is new behavior. I can reproduce by rebooting.
Upgraded to 1.5.2. Still crashing Finder at startup.

I am experiencing the same issues, just trying the 1.5.2 version…in addition the uninstallation script doesn’t start at all, so i had to download a previous dmg file and launch the script from it.
Interesting, thanks for the crash report. The code crashes when setting TotalFinder’s menu bar items titles.
Maybe some exotic keyboard shortcut translated to string could cause crash in Menu Item’s code? @dfelicia could please you send me your ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist?
Thanks a lot!
Here is the plist: http://effinthing.com/~dfelicia/com.apple.finder.plist
Update: After upgrading to Mavericks the startup crash has gone away.
I still didn’t have time to look into it. I got quite busy with Mavericks release and maintaining other apps.
