Finder using 100% of the CPU

Hi,

I’ve had the “Finder using 100% of the CPU” problem on and off before but it has gotten worse with recent releases. The problem rarely occurs on startup but if the machine has been sleeping, when awoken, Finder is cranking away at about 100% of one core. Often Window Server will also be cranking and the whole machine will be sluggish. Killing Finder fixes it. Turning off Folders On Top doesn’t fix it.

Running Mavericks 10.9.5 on an recent iMac (non-retina). I can get process sampling if needed.

Thanks,
DDA
