Hide visor when not in focus?

Is there any way to have the visor (for TotalFinder & TotalTerminal) hide without first bringing it into focus?

I find many times I have to slap my keyboard combo twice to hide it if I’m currently focused on another app.

I’m assuming your visor is pinned and you have focused another app. This behaviour is by design. It was explicitly requested by multiple people.

I could implement alternative code path and hidden plist tweak for you. But I would rather not to.
