What has been peoples’ experiences with setting/enforcing TotalFinder preferences/configurations via MCX or configuration profiles?

I don’t know. I don’t have experience with MCX or configuration profiles. TotalFinder stores uses standard installation packages, so it should be possible to automate it with standard tools. TotalFinder is not a standalone app, so it stores its settings in Finder’s plist in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist. I believe standard workflows should apply.
