If I place my finder window on a monitor and then later disconnect that monitor, I will then be unable to ‘find’ the finder window on the monitors that are then available.
Using the menu option WINDOW>>ZOOM does not work. Also, right-clicking the finder icon in the dock and choosing ‘Show All Windows’ does not work.
The only thing that I have found that works is option-clicking the finder icon in the dock and then choosing ‘Relaunch.’ This, however, causes TotalFinder to stop working and the traditional finder will resume until the next system restart.
Once I reconnect the monitor that the finder window was on prior to this issue the window will return to view. I believe this is a bug because other applications do not ‘get lost’ in this manner.
I am running MacOS 10.13.6 and TotalFinder 1.11.2.
