With OS X 10.9.2 and TF 1.5.22
Finder is closed;
Open Safari (Version 7.0.3 (9537.75.14);
Minimize Safari in the dock;
Begin to rename a file (.pdf, e.g.) on the desktop by clicking on it and adding a few letters. Don’t press Enter and don’t click on the desktop, you are still editing the name in the white box on the desktop;
Maximize Safari by clicking on it in the dock.
Do something in Safari.
Minimize Safari in the dock and the rainbow wheel never stops turning.
If you begin to rename the file and you open Safari during the process, it doesn’t bug. You have to open Safari before starting to rename the file.
