The toggling of the visibility of hidden files is no longer working for me. Neither the keyboard shortcut (Command+Shift+.) or the checkbox in TotalFinder preferences toggles the visibility. The change only occurs on relaunch of Finder & TotalFinder, eg. set visibility option with shortcut or in TF preferences (nothing happens), “Relaunch” Finder (or killall in terminal), relaunch TotalFinder, the visibility setting is then recognised.
This is on a 2013 iMac (3.4Ghz Core i5) with Mac OS X 10.9.5.
