Total finder visor slide

In total finder I have slide turned off. Every time the visor finder opens it slides from the bottom. When I drag the visor finder away from the bottom and it goes to hide, it first slides back down to the bottom and then fades out.

I don’t want the sliding. I just want the window to fade in/out where I left the window.

Same thing here:

TotalFinder 1.5.22. Every time I start the computer the visor shows up, even though I have it disabled. Also, when it was enabled, it showed all of the sudden without being invoked. I have two monitors and happens no matter which one I select in your Preferences pane.
