Each time more frequently, after reboot or starting the machine, it does NOT shows the space number on the menu icon and If I click on, it shows no spaces at all. The workaround is to quit and start the application again.
I have recently done some work in this area because of this issue - version 2.1.10 should fix it.
You can either check “Include pre-releases” in General preferences and then use the Check for Updates menu item, or you can install the new version from here:
http://downloads.binaryage.com/TotalSpaces2-2.1.10.zip
