TotalSpaces2 not working after disabling SIP

I have a MBP running macOS 10.12.6 and had TotalSpaces2 working perfectly. For some reason, I updated the application to 2.6.15 and tried to run it. It said that I had to turn off SIP, so I did. Then, with SIP off, I tried to reinstall and run it and it still says that SIP is enabled. I just tried reinstalling and I get the same issue. What is going on? How do I fix it?

Perhaps you can try opening Terminal.app (in Utilities) and typing the following command:

csrutil status

That should tell you the SIP status. If it is off, it should say “System Integrity Protection status: disabled.”
