# TotalSpaces3 on Ventura — spaces jump around

Has anyone else had this issue? When I try to switch spaces, the names of my spaces duplicate and move around on the grid. Then when I try to switch to a specific it often switches to a different space. It’s totally unusable, and a bit surreal.

tl;dr: **Disable** `System Preferences > Desktop & Dock > Mission Control > Automatically rearrange Spaces based on most recent use`

AWESOME THANK YOU! That worked perfectly. Now I can use TotalSpaces… not being able to was bumming me out.
