TS2 wish: Hotkey for going directly to a desktop

Say I have 5 desktops. I want a hotkey to go from desktop1 to desktop4 directly.
The native bindings allow this, by ctrl+1…5.
I could not find this setting in the preferences.

Hi, it may not be obvious, but you can click on the spaces in Layout prefs to do this.

Why can’t I assign Ctrl+4 to desktop 4? I am able to assign Ctrl+1, 2, 3 and 5, but not 4.

Do you have it associated with something else? Check in keyboard preferences->shortcuts, particularly under mission control.
