All spaces lost in macOS Sierra 10.12.2

Hi there,

I had 2x2 grid before macOS update. After the update to 10.12.2, I have this screen and I can’t click anything on there. Please help.

Just found out that the OS update to 10.12.2 basically reset the System Integrity Protection to ‘enabled’ state. Had to follow these steps again https://totalspaces.binaryage.com/elcapitan and it works now

This answers a question I had about Sierra and whether it was still necessary to disable SIP. I haven’t upgraded to Sierra yet for that reason.

This worked for me too, I didn’t realize I had to redo the SIP setting when OSX upgraded. Someone should make this a sticky post.
