(bug) TotalFinder's visor doesn't appear when clicking on downloaded file's open in finder icon

Hello.
Whenever you download something on the web or in let’s say transmit there is this small icon to open the downloaded file in finder:

or:

The problem is whenever you click it it doesn’t open totalfinder’s visor and you have to manually open visor with the hotkey. The location of the folder you’re opening is actually belongs to recently downloaded file that you wanted to open though.

I’m running latest totalfinder 1.6.17
The problem appeared both on mavericks and yosemite.
Hope it won’t take long to fix it.
Thanks.

I’m having the same problem, though for me it’s more general than just downloads. Up until a few weeks ago, Visor would activate whenever a folder was opened using “Reveal in Finder” in any application, but that no longer happens. The folder opens as a TF tab, but the visor doesn’t pop up.

Is there any way to get the old behaviour back? I’m running TF 1.6.16 on OS X 10.10.1.

Cheers.
