To enable gradients set these two params: defaults delete com.apple.finder TotalFinderLabelsFlatColors defaults write com.apple.finder TotalFinderLabelsGradientColors -bool true If TotalFinderLabelsFlatColors is set to true, it overrides TotalFinderLabelsGradientColors setting.
