"defaults write ..." for Allocating an App to Certain Space

Hi there, thank you for the wonderful app.

Is there a way to allocate an application to a specific space in Terminal like “defaults write com.binaryage.TotalSpaces2 applicationName desktopNum”?

I sometimes have to add and remove Emacs from the list according to my need.
It would be perfect If there’s a way to do it.

Thank you.

Walter

Hi Walter, easy…just click and hold on the top of a window of the app that you wanna move and press the command for the new space at the same time. Like command 1 or whatever and let go and the app window is now in the new space.

TS v2.9.9 on macOS 12.3 still works just fine for me via adding an app to the apps pane in the prefs and assigning a space. I know right now not everyone is having the same experience, but at least I can say it’s still possible for some, allowing you to set them and forget them (until you need to change them again).
