Desktop empty and unclickable

Hello,

I’ve a macbook pro 2017, Mojave 10.14.6.
I’ve just installed the trial version of TotalFinder, I like the sofware. But now all what had on my desktop desapear, and the desktop still unclickable.
I’ve tried to unistall the app but same issue. Desactivate and activate the System Integrity Protection(SIP) but the issue persists.

Anybody knows how fix it please? I don’t have any idea about what to do :confused:

This sounds like your Finder.app is not running for some reason (or is stuck). Finder is responsible for drawing and handling Desktop icons.

Try to look into Console.app if you can spot some errors related to Finder. Or maybe there are some crash reports related to Finder.app?
