Goodbye Total Spaces

Hi everybody, while I’m still using TS2 on a 16" MBpro 2019 with BigSur, I need to move and upgrade the OS, that has no more support for many applications I’m using for work.
TS3 is almost working in any way but we all know here the limitations.

THE SOLUTION

this is the unique solid alternative by now by my opinion.
Working on my 16" M3 Max with Sequoia with BetterTouchTool to trigger the grid expose (Space control), I use a 3x3 grid as usual.

With this combination I have restored almost all my workflow.
Only thing that still missing is the possibility of move application between the virtual spaces with drag&drop, but is possible with shortcuts.

That’s all,
goodbye guys

Based on @rovente’s recommendation I installed FlashSpace. The developer is very responsive. Within a week he’d increased the workspaces to from 15 to 24. Since I use 18 spaces this worked out. Interestingly, his update (4.6.57) automatically added the two workspaces I have #17 and #18 to the 16 spaces I already had in Mission Control. If you use this app make sure to switch on the option to “Activate Workspace on Focus Change” in Settings>Workspaces>Behaviors. If you use the same shortcuts for each workspace in FS that you have for each desktop in Mission Control that is good. You can drag and drop apps between workspaces using Mission Control and the FS app has a shortcut in Settings>Space Control.Toggle Space Control to display the workspace grid without needing any additional apps.

An update to FlashSpace: If you decide to use it make sure you remove all macOS desktops you have made for Mission Control beyond the primary desktop and all Mission Control settings (except for Displays have Separate Spaces if you are using Stage Manager). FlashSpace is a full replacement for Mission Control, so you don’t want to have setting conflicts. FlashSpace is working flawlessly on Tahoe. Release v4.9.60 · wojciech-kulik/FlashSpace · GitHub
