I used to get a response from the folder icon when a file is dragged on it (to drop it in) like in here:
Folder icon state used to move/change, turning into an open folder. Well, kinda.
But in Mountain Lion, I get this, istead:
No movements at all, just a highlighted icon.
It’s difficult to say if I’m dropping the file onto anything or not, when the desktop becomes crowded.
TotalFinder (or the Finder in Snow Leopard) used to give a better usual hint, if I’m dropping the file to the one I wanted.
I’d like to have the same feature in v.1.4.x
