TextEdit - Please Help!

I posted this earlier, but didn’t get a response. I can’t believe I am the only TotalSpaces user getting this error. Please help!
Open TextEdit windows always follow me to the current TotalSpaces desktop. No matter where I go, there they are, like an annoying little brother. If I try to drag them to another desktop, they just jump back.
Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to make it stop?

MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012, OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion)

Hi, sorry I must have missed your earlier message.

I don’t know why TextEdit windows would behave that way, unless TextEdit is assigned to all spaces. Have you had a good look at the App assignments in the Preferences?

Thanks, that was it. I was not aware of that setting and have no idea how TextEdit got assigned to all desktops, but I’ve deleted that setting. Thanks again, Rolf.
