Total Finder refuses to restart

Hello, I’ve just rebooted my system, and while Total Finder normally is activated by the ⌥+⌥ key combination after a few seconds wait, this time it doesn’t work at all. My SIP is permanently disabled, and I have tried starting Total Finder manually via Alfred. This is a major calamity for me as I rely on TF so much. What can I check to get it working again, do you think?

Panic over! Things may have been complicated by the fact that my iPad was updating its iPadOS, which meant that iTunes was sticking its nose into proceedings on my Mac, never a good idea in my experience! Anyhow, I rebooted yet again and everything seems to be fine now!
