So I’ve loved total finder and used it for a while. But all of a sudden, it won’t work. I get a blank tab with nothing init. If I click on total finder, a separate finder window opens. If I use the visor shortcut, the tab is blank. See http://cl.ly/image/2x2c2G230k3p for a screenshot. I’ve tried restarting finder, uninstalling and reinstalling total finder, restarting mac, but nothing seems to help. I have yosemite 10.10.1.
Do you see any errors in Console.app when opening those blank tabs? There should be some stack track of exception thrown in TotalFinder’s or Finder’s code.
Well…I don’t know what I did but now it seems to be working. I uninstalled it and removed all related files, which I did before. But this time, it seemed to have resolved itself.
