TotalFinder 1.5.6 dosen't start at after booting!

Hi there,

my problem is that the TotalFinder dosen’t start after login. I must start it ervery time manually, since i have OS X 10.9.1.

I have had TF startup issues since 10.8. My eventual (and successful) solution is to launch it via a LaunchDaemon.

  1. Take TotalFinder out of your login items (System Prefs -> Users/Groups -> Login Items)

  2. Download ~/Library/LaunchAgents/local.TotalFinder.plist

  3. Enable the LaunchAgent:

    launchctl load ~/Library/LaunchAgents/local.TotalFinder.plist

This will start TotalFinder 30 seconds after logging in. (You can change 30 to something else if you like.)
