For the past couple of months, TotalFinder has brought my computer to a crawl. It is most noticeable when moving files and previewing documents. I am running a recent MBA with very fast custom PCIe flash storage. I can instantly fix the problem but force quitting TotalFinder.
This problem alone has made TotalFinder mostly unusable as I have to force quit it once I’m running a couple of applications (Mail, Chrome with 3-7 tabs, Things, Slack).
Any word on why this is happening and if there is a fix in the works? I love the product in theory and used it for a long time but it has become more a burden lately then anything else.
