I installed the El Capitan GM seed yesterday and started getting the spinning beachball when trying to do anything in Finder. After killing TotalFinder, the performance issues went away. Other than that, TotalFinder works fine in El Capitan (at least, the features that are supported do). Any idea what’s going on with performance?

Please try to open Activity Monitor.app and sample the Finder process (the option is located under the cog icon).
