TotalFinder Yosemite status

I will release 1.6.3 on beta channel in a few hours. Will post a link here. Stay tuned.

I have just published 1.6.3 as a quick fix for failing 1.6.2 under Yosemite DP5:

Another loyal user here, 1.6.3 works great on DP5. When I reported this bug on Reddit, I was down-voted like crazy, don’t know why people think that just Finder is enough. The best functionality of TotalFinder that I use everyday is the dual mode!

TotalFinder 1.6.2 is incompatible with the latest Apple Mac Yosemite Beta 5.1 as of August 4, 2014.

How can I download it?

I can’t get 1.62 to run so that I can check for updates?

I got 1.63. It seems to work fine. Thanks very much.

TotalFinder beta 1.6.5 is out:

Recommended for all Yosemite users.

Please add customizable colors for the label colors in TotalFinder.

I’m still having trouble with the sidebar icons. Before installed the public beta, i had them colored with total finder, they are now just displayed as generic folder icons, regardless of whether or not the option is checked in the preferences. I am fully updated (1.6.5). Any suggestions?

Can you please double-check if you are running 1.6.5? Via Finder -> Preferences -> About. Or via Console.app when you launch TotalFinder.app.

I double checked and I am running 1.6.5.

Awesome job getting TF ready for OS 10.10! I have one really, really minor request: could the blue “pin” button on the top left of Visor be flattened to fit in with the new aesthetic of Yosemite?

I know there are probably other pressing issues that take precedence over simple aesthetics, but I thought I’d throw this out nonetheless. Thanks!

Good point. I’m going to do it for next release.
