In linux shells home and end move the cursor to the beginning or end of the line. However I can’t seem to get this to work on my Macbook running Yosemite.
This article (http://fplanque.com/dev/mac/mac-osx-terminal-page-up-down-home-end-of-line) seems to describe how you would set this up on Mountain Lion but I can’t find the current way to get this done.
