I did look at it, but I’m still unsure what the problem is (and why it appears for you and not me).
Can you check in Console.app if anything useful appears when you start TotalSpaces, and when you try to do the operation that fails.
You will find it useful to filter for TotalSpaces and Dock otherwise the quantity of messages is overwhelming.

What is interesting is that TotalSpaces2 was unable to detect that you had SIP fully enabled, so I will need to fix that issue.

The menu bar does not show up on every space, only on the one that is entered upon logging in. Using macOS Sierra GM and TotalSpaces 2.4.4 on an Macbook Air 1,7 GHz Intel Core i7.
